The one thing I’d name on a job description

If I had to write a job description for myself…

The first line wouldn’t say “coach” or “writer.”
It wouldn’t mention LinkedIn or human design reports or any of the roles I hold.

It would start with this:

Required daily rhythm: inner work.

That’s the real job.
The one that shifts everything else.

It’s the reason my external work - emails, LinkedIn posts, YouTube videos - feels aligned, not forced.
It’s the reason I don’t feel like I’m proving anything anymore.

Because when I move my internal needle,
the external actions feel like an extension,
not a performance.

But I didn’t always see it this way.

I used to believe that showing up online meant being productive, visible, consistent.
And yes, those things can matter.

But not at the expense of your truth.

I’ve spent this summer,
like last summer,
in half-days and soft rhythms.

Because I want to have time with my son.
Because I want to move at the pace of my own pulse.
Because I’m not here to build a brand.
I’m here to build a body of work.
Legacy.

So my rhythm?

Two parts inner work.
One part external action.

That’s how I wrote the From Metrics to Momentum blog series and started recording videos to go with it.

It wasn’t to grow my channel.
It was to grow me.
My library, my process, my resonance.

And that’s what I wanted to remind you today:

The thing that moves the needle might not look like output.

It might look like breath.
Like reflection.
Like listening to a voice note from your future self.
Like taking a walk before hitting record.
Like being gentle when your nervous system says, “Not yet.”

Because there’s a world of difference between motion and momentum.

And the more I’ve honored this,
the more traction I’ve felt.

So what if the part of your process you’ve been treating like a warm-up…
was actually the main event?

And what if that quiet work was doing more for your visibility
than any algorithm ever could?

Just something to sit with.

You’re doing more than you think.
Especially when you start with you.

Give yourself a hug,
Tricia

I’ve always been a pattern spotter. Probably why I was so good at knitting and creating trend reports. You can actually see it in my human design chart. Gate 47 (making sense of chaos). Channel 58-18 (seeing what no longer serves). Gate 5 (timing). Channel 59-6 (when it’s time to birth something new). And of course, being a 6-line... the bird’s eye view, pattern seer, rooftop watcher. I experience it in everyday life. Noticing when trends are rising. When energy is fading. When the right...

I kind feel a little stupid sharing this... Because yah, I should have known it. Ever have that a-ha moment, and you're like, How did I not see this? And then you wonder what else you aren't noticing. The funning thing is that I've been circling this for years, but I never put it together... sorry universe... I guess I just need to be hit over the head with it sometimes. There’s this concept in Human Design called lived wisdom. It’s the stuff we’ve learned because we had to. Not the natural...

Reader, the Red Frequency feels like a a flashlight I can't turn off these days. Creating these reports, witnessing the a-ha's, and seeing the results are like fuel for the fire that's been burning inside me for a while now. One that I don't intend to put out. And it seems to be spreading like hot flash some days. Last week I was watching my friend, Helmi share his content creation system for YouTube. Highly recommend it if you are making videos. He has this effective prompt to extract...
